Dr. Christine Haas Quan DVM ("Dr. Haas") grew up in a community of mini ranchettes in a beautiful place known as Wonder Valley on the outskirts of Fresno County. As a lover of all animals at a young age, she reached the decision to become a veterinarian by the time she was in first grade!
Dr. Haas participated in 4-H, FFA, and science fairs growing up and competed in many horseback activities. Her interests ranged from public speaking to cooking, and she achieved the titles of America's Top Young Scientist (2002), California State 4-H Horse Classic Senior Gymkhana High Point (2003 & 2004), and NHSRA Female Student of the Year (2005-2006) by the time she graduated high school.
Dr. Haas attended UC Davis for her undergraduate education and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Animal Science, Genetics. Veterinary School then called her name, and she was fortunate enough to remain in Davis for her studies.
Dr. Haas has experience with both large and small animal veterinary medicine, practicing in both Jackson, CA and Woodland, CA since graduation. Additionally, she has obtained her acupuncture certification for both small and large animals through Colorado Veterinary Medicine Association's OneHealth SIM Acupuncture course.
On her spare time, Dr. Haas is a California Cowgirl at heart and loves to spend her free time with her husband and all of their four legged "kids."
